Kamaz to set up electric bus plant, R&D center in Moscow
MOSCOW, Jul 4 (PRIME) -- CEO of Russian truck maker Kamaz Sergei Kogogin and Moscow city Mayor Sergei Sobyanin have signed an agreement on establishment of an electric buses facility and a research and development (R&D) center for advanced passenger transport, according to information obtained by PRIME transport on Thursday.
The facility with a capacity of at least 500 electric buses annually will be constructed on the territory of the Sokolniki rail car manufacturing and maintenance plant.
